Quick summary: Rally Racer 2000 does not require an account, does not collect personal information automatically, and does not sell or share your data with third parties. The only data we store is a display name and score you voluntarily submit to the public leaderboard.
Information We Collect
Rally Racer 2000 ("the App") collects minimal data to support gameplay features:
- Leaderboard entries (voluntary): If you choose to submit your score, we store the display name you provide, your score, and a timestamp. This information is publicly visible on the leaderboard.
- Analytics events: We use Amplitude to collect anonymous usage data such as screens visited, buttons tapped, and gameplay events (race start, race end, score). This helps us understand how the game is played and improve it. No personally identifiable information is attached to analytics events unless you submit a leaderboard name.
- Device type: We record whether you are playing on an iPhone or iPad to optimize the experience. No device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware serial numbers are collected.
Information Stored Locally
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:
- Your car customization settings (garage)
- Your personal high score
- A cached copy of the leaderboard for offline viewing
How We Use Your Information
- Display your score on the public leaderboard (only if you choose to submit it)
- Analyze anonymous gameplay patterns to improve the App
- Fix bugs and optimize performance
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
Data Retention
Leaderboard entries are retained indefinitely to maintain the public scoreboard. Analytics data is retained according to Amplitude's standard retention policies. You may request deletion of your leaderboard entry by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Leaderboard submission is voluntary, and we encourage parents to supervise their children's use of the App. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Your Choices
- You can play the game without submitting any information to the leaderboard.
- You can use any display name (including "Anonymous") when submitting a score.
- Deleting the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
